Deeyh Uthman

MACP, CCC (she/her)

Welcome! I’m a Canadian Certified Counsellor dedicated to creating a safe, authentic space for healing and self-discovery. I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia. My approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, integrating humanistic, narrative, neuro-affirming, mindfulness, and strengths-based elements.

I have extensive experience supporting both neurodivergent and neurotypical individuals in educational and community settings, deepening my understanding of the diverse needs and challenges faced by marginalized populations. Rooted in both individualistic and collectivist perspectives, I value and honour all aspects of identity.

I’m especially drawn to working with youth and young adults navigating identity, trauma, life transitions, stress, and school or work challenges. At its core, therapy is about you — your story, your pace, and your growth. Through compassion, collaboration, and cultural awareness, I aim to help you explore, connect with your inner strengths, and build lasting resilience.

Land Honouring

We respectfully honour that we are located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the xwməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ílwətaʔ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. We express gratitude for their enduring presence, contributions, and deep connection to this land.
